JPIS believes in creating life-long learners and cultivating standards of academic excellence and moral responsibility. We strive to inculcate the spirit of scientific inquiry, holistic grooming, and emotional well-being. The school empowers the students with analytical skills, research skills, critical thinking, communication and life skills. The most unique feature of the JPIS pedagogy is our learning community’s dedication to achieve excellence through a curriculum that is:
Relevant and inclusive
Inquiry and Concept-based
Inspiring and challenging
Developed on student agency
The JPIS initiatives are driven by a commitment to provide a conducive environment for learners from different cultural backgrounds and curriculums - State boards, CBSE, ICSE and Cambridge. Steeped in their local cultures, this community of heterogeneous learners is equipped with an internationally minded outlook, preparing them to be global citizens of the future. This is achieved through weekly class assemblies, student-initiated clubs and NGOs, Ted Talks, MUNs, socially driven gender sensitisation drives and inviting authors and dignitaries. Right from PYP, students are encouraged to honour their “voice, choice and ownership” through activities ranging from STEM, bake sale, environmental walks to instilling leadership qualities through positions in the student council.
The school policies are regularly reviewed, evaluated and updated keeping in mind the changing learning environment and curriculum. This is realised through PD workshops, SAIBSA workshops and SEE learning workshops, along with regular updation of resources.
To facilitate a culture of mutual dependence, interactive learning and compassionate values, the school provided boarding and day-boarding facilities. These amenities cater to international standards, opening the doors to learners from over 40 countries. JPIS is valued for its phenomenal college placements. Our in-house college placement cell believes in identifying and fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of every student.
The IB and Cambridge evaluation process is the way-forward to strengthen and enhance the school’s mission and vision. To build a cohesive environment of collaboration, the school actively involves parents and stakeholders in its decision making process.
