We believe that participating in Model United Nations goes a long way in shaping an individual. The varied hues of discussion, debate, drafting and diplomacy add colours to the students personality by improving their confidence, inter-personal skills, reasoning and oratory skills. Besides hosting our own MUNs in our School, all major MUNs in the country find a representation from our school.
The WFUNA International Model United Nations is hosted and organized by the World Federation of United Nations Associations where over 700 delegates from around the world gather to participate in a 5 day live simulation of UN committees. Our school participated and came back to India with laurels. We won the Overall Trophy, all seven awards and were honoured with a standing ovation .
The Ivy League Model United Nations comprises of four days of gruelling debate, competing with 450 delegates and 60 elite schools from all over the world, including schools from Delhi, Bahrain, U.A.E, U.K., Israel, South Korea and Japan. The conference was conducted and judged by the students and faculty of the University of Pennsylvania. Our school won the highest number of awards given to any single school with 6 awards won for Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, Honourable Mention and Verbal Mentions.
Harvard MUN India brings together more than 1300 high school students from over 130 schools across 28 cities and towns in India and over 8 countries worldwide to discuss and negotiate from an array of viewpoints issues concerning all countries today. Here as well, we emerged victorious with many awards.
